In the 21st match minute, Portalis FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicasio Jordy to maneuver through the defense. If Godfredo Balendin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bartolo Ermengol made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The supporters of Portalis FC booed when DEFENSORES LIBERTADOR FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matias Ralondo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 88 played minutes Portalis FC got a freekick which was hit by Santos Veto. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godfredo Balendin in the 89th minute of play forced Portalis FC's goalkeeper Bartolo Ermengol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bartolo Ermengol came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by DEFENSORES LIBERTADOR FC's Pascual Lucila. But to his dismay, Pascual Lucila quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Bartolo Ermengol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pascual Lucila, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, DEFENSORES LIBERTADOR FC could leave the field as winners, despite Portalis FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
