Timoteo Claris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Velasco having to interfere. Portalis FC's Bartolo Ermengol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorio Haitz in the 29th minute of play. Ambrosio Lander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Julio Velasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Nicasio Jordy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Velasco was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Delmar Silbestre's late challenge caught a Portalis FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When the referee ended the match the Portalis FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
