Spectators: 7184 (Terracing: 5390, Seating: 1652, VIP seats: 142) An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelino Toro in the 4th minute of play forced Glorioso Newell´s's goalkeeper Hernan Hegoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 1-0 became the score in the 7th minute when Angelino Toro elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Octavio Hanot didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Severiano Sesuldo went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. LOS MUCHACHOS's Octavio Hanot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saverio Brion in the 14th minute of play. The supporters of LOS MUCHACHOS booed when Glorioso Newell´s was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldo Ekain didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hernan Hegoi made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Isaias Timo sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isaias Timo got free with Hernan Hegoi in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Severiano Sesuldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Octavio Hanot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 26 minutes into the game, Isaias Timo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Hernan Hegoi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 29th play minute Isaias Timo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Hernan Hegoi. 3-1. Hernan Hegoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelino Toro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angelino Toro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernan Hegoi having to interfere. In the 43rd minute of the match, Isaias Timo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hernan Hegoi was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

The wind increased when Severiano Sesuldo made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Angelino Toro in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hernan Hegoi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hernan Hegoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelino Toro in the 55th minute of play. Angelino Toro charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Angelino Toro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to LOS MUCHACHOS getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Angelino Toro hit a great ball. If Angelino Toro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Glorioso Newell´s's Hernan Hegoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelino Toro in the 67th minute of play. Octavio Hanot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severiano Sesuldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcial Tino during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 77 minutes into the match, LOS MUCHACHOS's goalkeeper Octavio Hanot had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Saverio Brion. After a defensive mix-up in LOS MUCHACHOS's zone, Abel Raymond stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Octavio Hanot came out of the goal and Abel Raymond tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Glorioso Newell´s's Hernan Hegoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaias Timo in the 93rd minute of play. Saverio Brion's late challenge caught a LOS MUCHACHOS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Saverio Brion helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of LOS MUCHACHOS booed when Glorioso Newell´s was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position.
