Viale's Juan Garikoitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Isidor in the 6th minute of play. 11 minutes into the game, San Miguel del Monte FC's Javier Intxixu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juan Garikoitz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Juan Garikoitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Javier Intxixu in the 21st minute of the match. When Javier Intxixu came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the San Miguel del Monte FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Javier Intxixu couldn't finish the play. Juan Garikoitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Javier Intxixu in the 27th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Silverio Tiadoro during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 28th minute, Silverio Tiadoro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 35 minutes, Blas Osorio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Viale and the San Miguel del Monte FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Viale fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 34th minute. Penalty! Viale:s Juan Garikoitz showed great skill when he stopped Tomás Iyan:s penalty. Javier Intxixu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Javier Intxixu in the 40th minute of play forced Viale's goalkeeper Juan Garikoitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42ndth minute of the game Javier Intxixu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Viale's Juan Garikoitz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Sebastian Isidor managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Miguel del Monte FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Isidor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juan Garikoitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Javier Intxixu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half San Miguel del Monte FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 63 played minutes Viale got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Misael. 64 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when San Miguel del Monte FC's Javier Intxixu fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Javier Intxixu was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 70th minute. San Miguel del Monte FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 71 minutes into the game, Javier Intxixu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Juan Garikoitz. Javier Intxixu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Anier Telesforo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Cecilio Casado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sebastian Isidor struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Juan Garikoitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Miguel del Monte FC. In the 78th match minute, Viale was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Rameriz to maneuver through the defense. Javier Intxixu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Garikoitz having to interfere. Viale's Juan Garikoitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Javier Intxixu in the 83rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Javier Intxixu in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juan Garikoitz saved Viale from getting behind. After 90 played minutes San Miguel del Monte FC got a freekick which was hit by Silverio Tiadoro. Anier Telesforo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anier Telesforo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Cecilio Casado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over San Miguel del Monte FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Viale throughout the match.
