Emanuel Quintana went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Instituto Atlético C.C's Matias Honrio getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Clodoveo Totakoxe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Instituto Atlético C.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Clodoveo Totakoxe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juan Garikoitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 42 minutes into the match, Viale's goal looked a bit too open when Clodoveo Totakoxe came free, but Juan Garikoitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Siro Abreu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anier Telesforo in the 45th minute of play. In the 46th match minute, Instituto Atlético C.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matias Honrio to maneuver through the defense. Clodoveo Totakoxe charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Clodoveo Totakoxe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 49th minute, Clodoveo Totakoxe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Clodoveo Totakoxe made a kick off. Clodoveo Totakoxe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. In the 62nd minute Daniel Bakar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siro Abreu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the game, Clodoveo Totakoxe recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Juan Garikoitz. Clodoveo Totakoxe showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. The supporters of Instituto Atlético C.C booed when Viale was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anier Telesforo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd minute, Clodoveo Totakoxe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pedro Cordarell was extremely unlucky when he, in the 76th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clodoveo Totakoxe in the 96th minute of play forced Viale's goalkeeper Juan Garikoitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 98th play minutes Clodoveo Totakoxe shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Juan Garikoitz and just under the crossbar into goal. Instituto Atlético C.C's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
