Glorioso Newell´s's Hernan Hegoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Javier Intxixu in the 14th minute of play. Leopoldo Odol took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hernan Hegoi. Glorioso Newell´s's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Herminio Bidun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 25 played minutes Glorioso Newell´s got a freekick which was hit by German Kemen. A collision led to Glorioso Newell´s getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Abel Raymond hit a great ball. Glorioso Newell´s's Hernan Hegoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Javier Intxixu in the 30th minute of play. If Javier Intxixu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hernan Hegoi came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by San Miguel del Monte FC's German Egoi. But to his dismay, German Egoi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 43rd minute Sebastian Isidor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernan Hegoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Severiano Sesuldo to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, San Miguel del Monte FC's Sebastian Isidor got a free kick in the 55th minute. Hernan Hegoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Javier Intxixu in the 57th minute of the match. Sebastian Isidor who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Hernan Hegoi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 64th minute, Javier Intxixu fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Hernan Hegoi, passed just outside the right post. After 83 minutes of play, San Miguel del Monte FC's Sebastian Isidor made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hernan Hegoi was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Javier Intxixu in the 87th minute of play forced Glorioso Newell´s's goalkeeper Hernan Hegoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastian Isidor got free with Hernan Hegoi in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 90 minutes into the match, Javier Intxixu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hernan Hegoi, 0-3. Glorioso Newell´s's defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Javier Intxixu scored to the left of an out of position Hernan Hegoi, making the score, 0-4. San Miguel del Monte FC played a much better game than Glorioso Newell´s and deserved their victory. The Glorioso Newell´s players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
