The audience was convinced that Mario Chago's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fausto Ruisko was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Fausto Ruisko was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Romulo Oinatz. In the 11th minute Mario Chago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Ruisko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fausto Ruisko stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mario Chago's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. After 15 minutes, Gaston Ledesma made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Gonnet's Fausto Ruisko tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Mario Chago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Fausto Ruisko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gonnet's Fausto Ruisko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Chago in the 23rd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Gonnet's goalkeeper Fausto Ruisko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gaston Ledesma. Gaston Ledesma's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Fausto Ruisko skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mario Chago in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fausto Ruisko prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 31 minutes into the match, Gonnet's goalkeeper Fausto Ruisko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gaston Ledesma. Pipinas AFC's Gaston Ledesma got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 38th match minute, Gonnet was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baltasar Mercurio to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Pipinas AFC's Arnoldo Leoiar got a free kick in the 44th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Chago in the 47th minute of play forced Gonnet's goalkeeper Fausto Ruisko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teo Errapel was the one to do the kick off. Gaston Ledesma struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Fausto Ruisko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pipinas AFC. Mario Chago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Fausto Ruisko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Gaston Ledesma made a precise shot to the right of Fausto Ruisko. Gonnet's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 63rd minute, Gabriel Evarado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gaston Ledesma in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fausto Ruisko saved Gonnet from getting behind. In the 70th minute, Gaston Ledesma left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pipinas AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Teo Errapel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Chago in the 78th minute of play forced Gonnet's goalkeeper Fausto Ruisko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cleto Gabon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Justo Eleazar made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaston Ledesma in the 97th minute of play forced Gonnet's goalkeeper Fausto Ruisko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pipinas AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Gonnet for a fine match.
