The referee ignored Sportivo Quilmeño's protests and gave Rene Guerrero a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Matador Futbol Club booed when Sportivo Quilmeño was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rene Guerrero didn't get a good kick on the ball. The wind increased when Tomas Belarmo made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Quilmeño's Hernan Dantae got a free kick in the 52nd minute.
