The audience was convinced that Manuel Cordera's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Justo Eleazar was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. When Gaston Ledesma came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Pipinas AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaston Ledesma couldn't finish the play. Elias Abancens struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Justo Eleazar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Acomelia. Gaston Ledesma might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erasmo Eneto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gaston Ledesma ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Mario Chago's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erasmo Eneto was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Acomelia's zone, Mario Chago stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erasmo Eneto came out of the goal and Mario Chago tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gaston Ledesma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 48th match minute, Pipinas AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Chago to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Pipinas AFC were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Acomelia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cristobal Patrido took the corner. After taking down the ball on Pipinas AFC's corner Cristobal Patrido fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Erasmo Eneto quite easily take care of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Gaston Ledesma managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pipinas AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaston Ledesma was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erasmo Eneto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Manuel Cordera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Justo Eleazar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Cordera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Gaston Ledesma managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pipinas AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaston Ledesma was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erasmo Eneto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 73rd minute, Mario Chago ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erasmo Eneto was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 80 minutes into the match, Pipinas AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Cordera came free, but Justo Eleazar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pipinas AFC's Gaston Ledesma got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Acomelia defense, Gaston Ledesma kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erasmo Eneto. The Acomelia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erasmo Eneto should have stopped the shot. Mario Chago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmo Eneto having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Pipinas AFC fully deserved thier win.
