But to his dismay, Esteban Guter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 15 minutes into the match, Club Atletico El Enzo's goal looked a bit too open when Enzo Ixona came free, but Juan Lapurdi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Club Atletico El Enzo's Juan Lapurdi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atletico El Enzo from getting a goal against them. In the 19th minute, Guillermo Vergaray hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st match minute, Club Atletico El Enzo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Bernebe to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute of the match Hugo Arixo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Juan Lapurdi skillfully saved the ball. Eriberto Pancho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteban Guter in the 23rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Chancay FC's Genaro Niva got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 26th minute, Enzo Ixona hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Club Atletico El Enzo's Fernan Cordearo got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Esteban Guter came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Club Atletico El Enzo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Esteban Guter couldn't finish the play. Delmiro Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Juan Lapurdi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rogelio Bordat took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Juan Lapurdi. Juan Lapurdi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Federico Guerrero during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Club Atletico El Enzo getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Federico Guerrero hit a great ball. Chancay FC's Hugo Arixo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 41st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Club Atletico El Enzo. Rogelio Bordat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Juan Lapurdi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Delmiro Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulo Bernebe charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulo Bernebe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Club Atletico El Enzo getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Paulo Bernebe hit a great ball. Eriberto Pancho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fernan Cordearo in the 59th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Chancay FC's goal looked a bit too open when Esteban Guter came free, but Eriberto Pancho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Genaro Niva's late challenge caught a Club Atletico El Enzo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Genaro Niva helped the player get up and apologised. In the 66th minute, Genaro Niva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fernan Cordearo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Eriberto Pancho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eriberto Pancho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esteban Guter, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Juan Lapurdi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmiro Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteban Guter in the 76th minute of play forced Chancay FC's goalkeeper Eriberto Pancho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Delmiro Azevedo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Juan Lapurdi. Club Atletico El Enzo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Delmiro Azevedo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Eriberto Pancho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteban Guter in the 82nd minute of the match. Juan Lapurdi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmiro Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rogelio Bordat struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Juan Lapurdi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chancay FC. Delmiro Azevedo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juan Lapurdi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atletico El Enzo's zone, Rogelio Bordat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Lapurdi came out of the goal and Rogelio Bordat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chancay FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
