In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chucky Team's goalkeeper Ciro Igon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Florentino George fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Igon having to interfere. Colon Junior's Gaston Aznar got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 18 minutes into the match, Chucky Team's Amancio Telesforo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ambrosio Javiar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Gaston Aznar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Chucky Team's zone, Florentino George stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciro Igon came out of the goal and Florentino George tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Constantino Gutierrez hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Gaston Aznar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Igon having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Colon Junior's zone, Rodrigo Mitxaut stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ambrosio Javiar came out of the goal and Rodrigo Mitxaut tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Constantino Gutierrez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute, Amancio Telesforo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amancio Telesforo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ambrosio Javiar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. Rodrigo Mitxaut received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Ambrosio Javiar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Rodrigo Mitxaut made the kick off in the second half. Gaston Aznar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Ciro Igon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Florentino George sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute Florentino George shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Igon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chucky Team's Amancio Telesforo got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 82 minutes, Ramiro Pelayo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chucky Team and the Colon Junior players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Chucky Team fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 81st minute. Penalty! With a little luck, Colon Junior's Ambrosio Javiar got control of the ball when Amancio Telesforo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ambrosio Javiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantino Gutierrez in the 96th minute of the match. Chucky Team's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
