Fabian Rainerio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Dalmu having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Everardo Bartuelo in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zeledon Dalmu saved Claypole AFC from getting behind. Arturo Perutxo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Apolo Gonsalve tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 18 played minutes Claypole AFC got a freekick which was hit by Prospero Suero. Zeledon Dalmu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabian Rainerio in the 22nd minute. After 27 played minutes Club Atletico Ducilo got a freekick which was hit by Javier Francesco. Bartolo Ferdinand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apolo Gonsalve having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Everardo Bartuelo in the 42nd minute of play forced Claypole AFC's goalkeeper Zeledon Dalmu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Bartolo Ferdinand managed to get in a good position for a shot. Claypole AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bartolo Ferdinand was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Apolo Gonsalve breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 48 minutes into the match, Claypole AFC's goalkeeper Zeledon Dalmu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabian Rainerio. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Everardo Bartuelo to make the kick off. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Everardo Bartuelo sped through Claypole AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zeledon Dalmu. Fabian Rainerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65thth minute of the game Everardo Bartuelo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Claypole AFC's Zeledon Dalmu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Claypole AFC's zone, Fabian Rainerio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zeledon Dalmu came out of the goal and Fabian Rainerio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Everardo Bartuelo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Zeledon Dalmu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute Javier Francesco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Dalmu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 81 minutes, Fabian Rainerio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atletico Ducilo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabian Rainerio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Everardo Bartuelo took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zeledon Dalmu. Zeledon Dalmu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. If Fabian Rainerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Rainerio in the 89th minute of play forced Claypole AFC's goalkeeper Zeledon Dalmu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zeledon Dalmu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Rainerio in the 92nd minute of play. The supporters of Claypole AFC booed when Club Atletico Ducilo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermengildo Gitano didn't get a good kick on the ball.
