The coaching staff of Colon Junior protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Fulgencio Laurentzi had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a defensive mix-up in Batea's zone, Gaston Aznar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Federico Dabi came out of the goal and Gaston Aznar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 61 in the game by Lino Claus from a close distance when the talented Ambrosio Javiar managed to make a qualified save. Colon Junior's players were relieved. In the 62nd match minute, Colon Junior was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeo Perfecto to maneuver through the defense. Batea's Melquiades Abadie managed to work through Colon Junior's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Melquiades Abadie dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Federico Dabi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gaston Aznar went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. The supporters of Colon Junior booed when Batea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacobo Mannuel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 70 minutes, Gaston Aznar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Colon Junior and the Batea players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a little luck, Colon Junior's Ambrosio Javiar got control of the ball when Lino Claus tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 76th match minute, Batea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Dacio to maneuver through the defense.
