Fulgencio Laurentzi kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Aristides Timo struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Ambrosio Javiar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ambil. Arnulfo Cordarell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ambrosio Javiar having to interfere. In the 41st minute Ambil were awarded a corner. Arnulfo Cordarell went to the cornerflag to take it. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Aristides Timo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ambil's supporters rose to their feet, but Aristides Timo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ambrosio Javiar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 47 played minutes Colon Junior got a freekick which was hit by Damian Rosio. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Florentino George made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Arnulfo Cordarell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Arnulfo Cordarell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute, Aristides Timo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ambil's Arnulfo Cordarell was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 67th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Damian Rosio in the 93rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Ambil's Leonel Niguel. Ambil's Arnulfo Cordarell got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ambil's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
