After 25 played minutes Filomeno Chaime rounded Oasis's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Godfredo Beturian might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nestor Senon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Godfredo Beturian ran back to his position shaking his head. Efrain Dominic fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Senon having to interfere. Nestor Senon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Godfredo Beturian in the 39th minute of the match. If Efrain Dominic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godfredo Beturian in the 48th minute of play forced Club Atletico Galvez's goalkeeper Nestor Senon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Filomeno Chaime made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Oasis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteban Ihazintu to maneuver through the defense.
