In the 21st minute, Rivas's German Senen ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Moises Bladi. Moises Bladi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. In the 24th match minute, los shelby FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Generoso Bartoli to maneuver through the defense. Baldomiro Tiniebra's late challenge caught a los shelby FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baldomiro Tiniebra helped the player get up and apologised. After 26 played minutes Rivas got a freekick which was hit by Baldomiro Tiniebra. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and German Senen made a kick off. Honorato Obano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moises Bladi having to interfere. Rivas's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
