Gabriel Iliana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Segundo Umea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Florencio Kaiet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 12 played minutes Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Remigio Cuartio. Florencio Kaiet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Iliana in the 16th minute of play. Braulio Asur came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Independiente's Remigio Rayman. But to his dismay, Remigio Rayman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 24 minutes into the match, Gabriel Iliana notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Independiente's Florencio Kaiet. Florencio Kaiet was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gabriel Iliana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florencio Kaiet having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Segundo Umea in the 28th minute of play forced Independiente's goalkeeper Florencio Kaiet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fulgencio Lucado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 33 played minutes Alegría Polo Team got a freekick which was hit by Ruben Vincent. Remigio Rayman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Braulio Asur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Alegría Polo Team's Atilano Abascal got a free kick in the 45th minute. Remigio Rayman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 47thth minute tested the skills of Braulio Asur when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fulgencio Lucado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fulgencio Lucado took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Braulio Asur. Braulio Asur dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Braulio Asur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remigio Rayman, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 55 minutes into the match, Remigio Rayman notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Alegría Polo Team's Braulio Asur. Braulio Asur was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Independiente's Florencio Kaiet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Independiente from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Alegría Polo Team's zone, Remigio Rayman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Braulio Asur came out of the goal and Remigio Rayman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Braulio Asur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulgencio Lucado in the 65th minute of play. Gabriel Iliana took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Florencio Kaiet. Florencio Kaiet dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. After having played for 73 minutes, Fulgencio Lucado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Independiente's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fulgencio Lucado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Remigio Rayman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruben Vincent kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Remigio Rayman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Florencio Kaiet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Iliana, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Fulgencio Lucado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Braulio Asur having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Independiente fans cheered their team off the field, for while Alegría Polo Team had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
