If Donato Azibar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Filomeno Chaime's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Constantino Lizer was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Cajón defense, Filomeno Chaime kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Constantino Lizer. The Cajón fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Constantino Lizer should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Cajón's zone, Filomeno Chaime stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Constantino Lizer came out of the goal and Filomeno Chaime tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Gonzalo Ferdinand fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atletico Galvez's protests and gave Gonzalo Ferdinand a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Cajón booed when Club Atletico Galvez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonzalo Ferdinand didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marciano Distiratsu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Senon having to interfere. Marciano Distiratsu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marciano Distiratsu in the 46th minute of play forced Club Atletico Galvez's goalkeeper Nestor Senon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Filomeno Chaime to make the kick off. Filomeno Chaime sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filomeno Sendoa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Nestor Senon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacobo Bilintx charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jacobo Bilintx the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 61 played minutes Club Atletico Galvez got a freekick which was hit by Jacobo Bilintx. Cajón's Maximo Rey couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Club Atletico Galvez. Filomeno Sendoa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nestor Senon having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filomeno Chaime in the 70th minute of play forced Cajón's goalkeeper Constantino Lizer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Cajón's Maximo Rey got a free kick in the 71st minute. 72 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Galvez's Enzo Bidari broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When Filomeno Sendoa came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Cajón fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filomeno Sendoa couldn't finish the play. If Anier Enol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cajón's Constantino Lizer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filomeno Chaime in the 86th minute of play. Anier Enol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Constantino Lizer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filomeno Chaime fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantino Lizer having to interfere. In the 91st minute of the match Enzo Bidari sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Constantino Lizer skillfully saved the ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
