Maximo Rey took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bruno Iban. Naipe FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Naipe FC's Bruno Iban played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marciano Distiratsu in the 40th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Naipe FC's zone, Filomeno Sendoa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Iban came out of the goal and Filomeno Sendoa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marciano Distiratsu made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Naipe FC's zone, Filomeno Sendoa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Iban came out of the goal and Filomeno Sendoa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Filomeno Sendoa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Bruno Iban tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute Filomeno Sendoa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Iban saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erasmo Rencio's late challenge caught a Cajón's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filomeno Sendoa got free with Bruno Iban in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 71 minutes into the match, Marciano Distiratsu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bruno Iban, 0-3. Filomeno Sendoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Iban having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Marciano Distiratsu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cajón's supporters rose to their feet, but Marciano Distiratsu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruno Iban breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Naipe FC booed when Cajón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Azibar didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Naipe FC's Daniel Procopio tried to score from far away in the 81st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Tomas Quinito fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Naipe FC's protests and gave Tomas Quinito a yellow card for diving instead. Tomas Quinito kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Filomeno Sendoa struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Bruno Iban didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cajón. In the 85th minute Marciano Distiratsu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Iban saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Filomeno Sendoa came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Cajón fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filomeno Sendoa couldn't finish the play. In the 88th match minute, Naipe FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrique Mero to maneuver through the defense. 90 minutes into the game, Filomeno Sendoa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bruno Iban. Filomeno Sendoa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Marciano Distiratsu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Iban having to interfere. When the match was over Cajón could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Naipe FC throughout the match.
