After 7 played minutes Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Anastasio Guillelme. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Florencio Iztal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Hornos F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Florencio Iztal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florencio Kaiet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tobias Vincent could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Florencio Kaiet made a huge save. Los Hornos F.C's Jonatan Francis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulgencio Lucado in the 14th minute of play. Remigio Cuartio kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Remigio Rayman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonatan Francis having to interfere. In the 21st minute Fulgencio Lucado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonatan Francis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hugo Afonso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Florencio Kaiet read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Remigio Cuartio kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Independiente's Florencio Kaiet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Independiente from getting a goal against them. Remigio Rayman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonatan Francis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remigio Rayman in the 47th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Remigio Rayman to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Los Hornos F.C getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Segundo Silviano hit a great ball. The supporters of Independiente booed when Los Hornos F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florencio Iztal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute there was a penalty for Los Hornos F.C. Florencio Iztal stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Florencio Kaiet. 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Independiente's zone, Tobias Vincent stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florencio Kaiet came out of the goal and Tobias Vincent tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Independiente's Remigio Rayman got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 84th minute, Tobias Vincent ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Florencio Kaiet was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Gonzalo Rosalio kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the game, Hugo Afonso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Florencio Kaiet was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 98 minutes into the match, Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Tobias Vincent came free, but Florencio Kaiet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Los Hornos F.C had won after a very even match.
