Atlanta United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave conexu the free kick. Ruperto Tirso hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After 13 played minutes Atlanta United got a freekick which was hit by Victoriano Olo. When Lisandro Ikatz came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the conexu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lisandro Ikatz couldn't finish the play. Lisandro Ikatz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Francisco Diegotxe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th match minute, Atlanta United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damian Cordeal to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute of the match Aureliano Fertus sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Francisco Diegotxe skillfully saved the ball. 25 minutes into the game, Isaias Arlo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Carlos Marcones was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Ruperto Tirso was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 27 minutes had been played. In the 32nd match minute, Atlanta United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damian Cordeal to maneuver through the defense. Julio Poz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Francisco Diegotxe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Julio Poz managed to get in a good position for a shot. conexu's supporters rose to their feet, but Julio Poz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francisco Diegotxe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Isaias Arlo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Marcones having to interfere. In the 44th minute Lisandro Ikatz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Diegotxe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

A very good chance. 55 minutes into the game, Prudencio Min was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. If Lisandro Ikatz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th match minute, conexu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascual Vigil to maneuver through the defense. Lisandro Ikatz struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Francisco Diegotxe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for conexu. After having played for 89 minutes, Julio Poz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. conexu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julio Poz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julio Poz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Poz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Francisco Diegotxe made a huge save. When the final whistle sounded conexu left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Atlanta United.
