After having played for 34 minutes, Virgilio Jenaro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mascasín's supporters crossed their fingers, but Virgilio Jenaro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 35 minutes into the match, Bariji FC's goalkeeper Salvador Gil had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Atilano Bertran. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mascasín's goalkeeper Ismael Reyes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fausto Feo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Reyes having to interfere. Israel Ledesma hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Bariji FC's Simon Espiridion tried to score from far away in the 44th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.

Mascasín's Ismael Reyes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Mascasín from getting a goal against them.
