Atlanta United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Principe F.C. the free kick. A collision led to Atlanta United getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Damian Cordeal hit a great ball. Francisco Diegotxe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severo Jusepe in the 10th minute of play. Francisco Diegotxe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severo Jusepe in the 13th minute of the match. Francisco Diegotxe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cirilo Cesario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isaias Arlo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Narcomillo Paez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 20 played minutes Atlanta United got a freekick which was hit by Damian Cordeal. If Severo Jusepe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Narcomillo Paez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urbano Eneto, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After 26 minutes El Principe F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Segundo Libertad who took care of the corner kick. Atlanta United's Segundo Libertad was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Narcomillo Paez in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A collision led to El Principe F.C. getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Godfredo Librado hit a great ball. El Principe F.C.'s Narcomillo Paez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urbano Eneto in the 31st minute of play. Godfredo Librado was shown his second yellow card after 35 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. 40 minutes into the match, Atlanta United's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Jokin came free, but Francisco Diegotxe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Omar Jokin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 45 minutes, Prudencio Min mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atlanta United and the El Principe F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Omar Jokin to make the kick off. Omar Jokin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Severo Jusepe managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Principe F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Severo Jusepe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francisco Diegotxe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Atlanta United's Prudencio Min got his second yellow card of the match in the 58th minute. The referee ordered Prudencio Min off the ground. In the 58th minute, Prudencio Min hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Omar Jokin in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Francisco Diegotxe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Omar Jokin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. El Principe F.C.'s Cirilo Cesario got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 78th minute Omar Jokin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Diegotxe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francisco Diegotxe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Jokin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Atlanta United's Urbano Eneto got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Omar Jokin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Diegotxe having to interfere. El Principe F.C.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
