With a little luck, Corazon Millonario's Genaro Abecia got control of the ball when Ramon Cordero tried to sneak it across the goal line. 74 minutes into the game, Cecilio Napier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Claudio Montrelle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Claudio Montrelle's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Genaro Abecia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Corazon Millonario's Cecilio Napier got a free kick in the 86th minute. Felipe Valente kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Jaime Sayveon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genaro Abecia having to interfere. Claudio Montrelles short, quick shot in the 92ndth minute got Genaro Abecia to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Unión Trelew's Jaime Sayveon in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
