The supporters of Cululú booed when Turungun was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudio Teodor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angelo Ugutz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casimiro Urtats having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Francisco Cristos made a precise shot to the right of Samuel Santana. Cululú's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Osvaldo Luix to strike the kick off in the second half. If Angelo Ugutz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Osvaldo Luix came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Cululú fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osvaldo Luix couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Osvaldo Luix in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Casimiro Urtats prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Turungun's zone, Angelo Ugutz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casimiro Urtats came out of the goal and Angelo Ugutz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Osvaldo Luix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Samuel Santana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Berdaitz in the 74th minute of play. In the 84th minute, Andres Ermano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cululú were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
