In the 48thth minute of the game Aquilino Cilio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Cabral's Teo Urtzi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 53rd match minute, Deportivo Cabral was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ovidio Atarratze to maneuver through the defense. Reynaldo Marquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teo Urtzi having to interfere.
