With an all-out effort, Turungun's Genaro Abecia threw himself towards the right post 10 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jonas Berdaitz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 17 minutes into the match, Corazon Millonario's goalkeeper Genaro Abecia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco Cristos. Francisco Cristos struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Genaro Abecia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Turungun. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 19th minute of the game. One of Corazon Millonario:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Turungun:s goal. In the 41stth minute of the game Jonas Berdaitz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Corazon Millonario's Genaro Abecia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Turungun fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when Turungun's Jonas Berdaitz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
