Bonifacio Riveros short, quick shot in the 11thth minute got Samuel Santana to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bonifacio Rivero got free with Samuel Santana in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 16th match minute, Penca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moises Garikoitz to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Cululú booed when Penca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freddy Micael didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The supporters of Penca booed when Cululú was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Everardo Jerrald didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bonifacio Rivero might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Samuel Santana. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bonifacio Rivero ran back to his position shaking his head. Bonifacio Rivero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bonifacio Rivero was shown his second yellow card after 79 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ferenc Segesváry showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Andres Ermano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ferenc Segesváry was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Penca's goalkeeper Ferenc Segesváry, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match was over Cululú could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Penca throughout the match.
