After having played for 15 minutes, Osvaldo Luix managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 17th minute, one of Deportivo Cabral:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Deportivo Cabral. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Andres Ermano came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Cululú fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andres Ermano couldn't finish the play. If Osvaldo Luix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teo Urtzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldo Luix, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Israel Anaya could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Samuel Santana made a huge save. Angelo Ugutz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teo Urtzi having to interfere. Teo Urtzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldo Luix in the 40th minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Deportivo Cabral's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Ugutz came free, but Teo Urtzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Cululú's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Iratxo came free, but Samuel Santana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Cululú walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
