Spectators: 6650 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Osvaldo Luix started the match with the kick off. With his leg Atilano Truylos managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when Cululú's Angelo Ugutz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Saturnino Gombal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Santana having to interfere. After 21 minutes of play, Argentina's Saturnino Gombal made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Samuel Santana was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arsenio Argenis charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arsenio Argenis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Argentina getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Arsenio Argenis hit a great ball. 31 minutes into the match, Angelo Ugutz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Atilano Truylos. Argentina's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Angelo Ugutz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. If Osvaldo Luix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cululú's Osvaldo Luix got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Everardo Jerrald came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Cululú fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Everardo Jerrald couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Angelo Ugutz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cululú's supporters rose to their feet, but Angelo Ugutz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Atilano Truylos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Elpidio Gizon struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Samuel Santana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Argentina.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Saturnino Gombal was the one to do the kick off. Osvaldo Luix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Atilano Truylos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Ugutz in the 53rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Cululú's zone, Saturnino Gombal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samuel Santana came out of the goal and Saturnino Gombal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Saturnino Gombal in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Samuel Santana prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 63 minutes into the match, Cululú's goalkeeper Samuel Santana had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elpidio Gizon. Andres Ermano kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. With a little luck, Cululú's Samuel Santana got control of the ball when Elpidio Gizon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Saturnino Gombal hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Angelo Ugutz in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Atilano Truylos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cululú's Samuel Santana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Cululú from getting a goal against them. Atilano Truylos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldo Luix in the 75th minute of play. Samuel Santana was a little too slow when Saturnino Gombal got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 1-2. 87 minutes into the game, Argentina's Elpidio Gizon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Samuel Santana made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. The Argentina players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
