Ferenc Segesváry came out of the goal and Osvaldo Luix tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ferenc Segesváry was a little too slow when Pedro Bizen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 6th minute. The score was now 1-0. Through an outstanding action, after 14 minutes, Ferenc Segesváry successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Angelo Ugutz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Ferenc Segesváry made a huge save. 25 minutes into the match, Angelo Ugutz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ferenc Segesváry. Penca's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Angelo Ugutz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Ferenc Segesváry made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andres Ermano in the 29th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Penca's goal looked a bit too open when Andres Ermano came free, but Ferenc Segesváry reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ferenc Segesváry made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldo Luix in the 48th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Osvaldo Luix was the one to do the kick off. Samuel Santana made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Bonifacio Rivero sent off a good shot on target. Penca's Ferenc Segesváry played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Bizen in the 59th minute of play. Ferenc Segesváry showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andres Ermano in the 62nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Cululú's zone, Bonifacio Rivero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samuel Santana came out of the goal and Bonifacio Rivero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Bonifacio Rivero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Bonifacio Rivero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Penca's supporters rose to their feet, but Bonifacio Rivero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Samuel Santana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 72nd minute, Gilberto Diegotxe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Cululú's Osvaldo Luix in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Penca's goalie prevented a goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 84th minute of the game. One of Penca:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cululú:s goal. The referee gave Cululú a penalty, 87 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Everardo Jerrald, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Penca's Ferenc Segesváry. 4-0. 90 minutes into the game, Moises Garikoitz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Penca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cululú the free kick. In the 90th match minute, Penca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moises Garikoitz to maneuver through the defense. Everardo Jerrald took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 91st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ferenc Segesváry. Penca's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Penca players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cululú.
