Spectators: 6661 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Raul Macerio got the match started through his kick off. Samuel Santana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raul Macerio in the 3rd minute of the match. A collision led to Cululú getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Pedro Bizen hit a great ball. Samuel Santana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melquiades Urtsua in the 13th minute of play. Samuel Santana came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Changos 's Melquiades Urtsua. But to his dismay, Melquiades Urtsua quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Pedro Bizen's late challenge caught a Changos 's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedro Bizen helped the player get up and apologised. Pedro Bizen kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raul Macerio in the 20th minute of play forced Cululú's goalkeeper Samuel Santana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Anier Lizardi fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Changos 's protests and gave Anier Lizardi a yellow card for diving instead. Anier Lizardi kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Cululú defense, Raul Macerio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Samuel Santana. The Cululú fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Samuel Santana should have stopped the shot. Cululú's Samuel Santana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Macerio in the 36th minute of play. Changos 's Melquiades Urtsua got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 43rd minute Osvaldo Luix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nunez Vincent saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Changos 's Fidel Millano got a free kick in the 43rd minute.

During the 82nd minute of the match Pedro Bizen completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Pedro Bizen a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Changos booed when Cululú was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Bizen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Melquiades Urtsua took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Samuel Santana. Samuel Santana dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. After having played for 94 minutes, Melquiades Urtsua managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Changos 's supporters crossed their fingers, but Melquiades Urtsua was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 96thth minute of the game Raul Macerio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cululú's Samuel Santana was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Raul Macerio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Santana having to interfere. The Changos supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Changos would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
