After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Teodoro Piearres managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ave Fenix's supporters rose to their feet, but Teodoro Piearres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nunez Hurko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Silvio Suero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baldomiro Goyo in the 37th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Ave Fenix's goal looked a bit too open when Teobaldo Claris came free, but Silvio Suero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
