Spectators: 7281 (Terracing: 5463, Seating: 1674, VIP seats: 144) Rafael Cordaryal started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the game, Rigoberto Quintyn cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Paulo Vargas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Anquincila's zone, Rigoberto Quintyn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Vargas came out of the goal and Rigoberto Quintyn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paulo Vargas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rigoberto Quintyn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute, Jonatan Bartoleme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Anquincila getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Jonatan Bartoleme hit a great ball. 18 minutes into the match, Anquincila's goal looked a bit too open when Rigoberto Quintyn came free, but Paulo Vargas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Anquincila's Aquilino Dabi got a free kick in the 19th minute. Paulo Vargas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rigoberto Quintyn, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigoberto Quintyn in the 21st minute of play forced Anquincila's goalkeeper Paulo Vargas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafael Cordaryal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Raimundo Veremundo came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Verdolaga FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raimundo Veremundo couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimundo Veremundo in the 48th minute of play forced Anquincila's goalkeeper Paulo Vargas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Verdolaga FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Raimundo Veremundo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Paulo Vargas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Veremundo in the 61st minute of play. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Anquincila's goalkeeper Paulo Vargas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Anquincila's Paulo Vargas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Anquincila from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Anquincila getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Jonatan Bartoleme hit a great ball. Rigoberto Quintyn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Paulo Vargas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Anquincila's goalkeeper Paulo Vargas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Paulo Vargas came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Verdolaga FC's Rigoberto Quintyn. But to his dismay, Rigoberto Quintyn quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Rafael Cordaryal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cai Wei Ming read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. In the 89th minute Raimundo Veremundo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Vargas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Verdolaga FC's Raimundo Veremundo got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Verdolaga FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
