Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Catenaccio F.C.'s goalkeeper Aquiles Frascuelo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 20 minutes into the game, Jesus Transito lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Prospero Mitxaut. Clemente Dacio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulino Nuñez in the 25th minute of play forced Catenaccio F.C.'s goalkeeper Aquiles Frascuelo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Bonifacio Perutxo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Catenaccio F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Bonifacio Perutxo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Prospero Mitxaut breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With an all-out effort, Catenaccio F.C.'s Prospero Mitxaut threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bonifacio Perutxo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jesus Transito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Prospero Mitxaut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Bonifacio Perutxo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Prospero Mitxaut. That made the score 2-0 in the 34 minute of play. After some careless play in the Catenaccio F.C. defense, Clemente Dacio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aquiles Frascuelo. The Catenaccio F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aquiles Frascuelo should have stopped the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bonifacio Perutxo to strike the kick off in the second half. Prospero Mitxaut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bonifacio Perutxo in the 53rd minute of the match. After 58 played minutes, Catenaccio F.C.'s Nestor Quirze shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Prospero Mitxaut came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Catenaccio F.C. reached it. Marcelino Mambru's late challenge caught a Peña AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcelino Mambru helped the player get up and apologised. Bonifacio Perutxo might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Prospero Mitxaut. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bonifacio Perutxo ran back to his position shaking his head. 67 minutes into the match, Peña AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jesus Transito came free, but Prospero Mitxaut reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bonifacio Perutxo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78thth minute of the game Clemente Dacio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Catenaccio F.C.'s Aquiles Frascuelo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guido Noe in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aquiles Frascuelo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Angelino Turi's late challenge caught a Peña AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angelino Turi helped the player get up and apologised. Bonifacio Perutxo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prospero Mitxaut having to interfere. Prospero Mitxaut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jesus Transito in the 90th minute of the match. Prospero Mitxaut stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bonifacio Perutxo's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. A collision led to Peña AFC getting a freekick after 99 minutes play. Bartolo Nazario hit a great ball.
