Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Teodoro Piearres kicked off to start the match. Silvio Suero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norberto Ceandro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th minute, Norberto Ceandro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Humberto Pello hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute, Cipriano Qwinton had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabricio Mendebal during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Verdolaga FC's Fabricio Mendebal got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Cai Wei Ming made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vinicio Garcia in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute, Rigoberto Quintyn ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silvio Suero was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Silvio Suero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Javier Orland, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Norberto Ceandro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Silvio Suero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cai Wei Ming made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luisito Sol in the 42nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Verdolaga FC's zone, Luisito Sol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cai Wei Ming came out of the goal and Luisito Sol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ave Fenix's Silvio Suero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigoberto Quintyn in the 48th minute of play.

In the 54th minute Rigoberto Quintyn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvio Suero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luisito Sol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Cai Wei Ming tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 59 minutes of play, Ave Fenix's Luisito Sol made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cai Wei Ming was left in no man's land by his defense there! Norberto Ceandro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rigoberto Quintyn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvio Suero having to interfere. After having played for 73 minutes, Rigoberto Quintyn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Verdolaga FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rigoberto Quintyn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cai Wei Ming showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisito Sol in the 76th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 79th minute by Rigoberto Quintyn got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 82nd of the match, Rigoberto Quintyn tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Silvio Suero got in the way and made a wonderful save. In the 85th match minute, Ave Fenix was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Humberto Pello to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute, Humberto Pello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Verdolaga FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fabricio Mendebal in the 91st minute. Patricio Rea made a great header on Verdolaga FC's corner, it was just that Ave Fenix's Silvio Suero managed to reach the ball for a save. Verdolaga FC's Norberto Ceandro got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
