After some careless play in the Bochini defense, Norberto Ceandro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zeledon Savion. The Bochini fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zeledon Savion should have stopped the shot. Tito Pescaredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teobaldo Gaspard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Verdolaga FC's Rigoberto Quintyn got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 25 minutes into the match, Verdolaga FC's goal looked a bit too open when Teobaldo Gaspard came free, but Cai Wei Ming reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Verdolaga FC booed when Bochini was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgilio Peruxu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zeledon Savion showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rigoberto Quintyn in the 30th minute of the match. Verdolaga FC's Cai Wei Ming played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgilio Peruxu in the 35th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Teobaldo Gaspard had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cai Wei Ming. Verdolaga FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teobaldo Gaspard was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Bochini's Virgilio Peruxu got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Norberto Ceandro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zeledon Savion read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Blas Ishmael made a kick off. After 51 played minutes Bochini got a freekick which was hit by Segundo Castulo. In the 52nd minute, Norberto Ceandro made a precise shot to the right of Zeledon Savion. Bochini's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 55th minute, Blas Ishmael got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Blas Ishmael received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Cai Wei Ming tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, Verdolaga FC's Norberto Ceandro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zeledon Savion narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Norberto Ceandro in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zeledon Savion prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Blas Ishmael sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute of the match Adolfo Cesario sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zeledon Savion skillfully saved the ball. Bochini's Zeledon Savion played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norberto Ceandro in the 83rd minute of play. After 83 played minutes Bochini got a freekick which was hit by Virgilio Peruxu. Norberto Ceandro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Savion having to interfere. Zeledon Savion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rigoberto Quintyn in the 96th minute of play. The Verdolaga FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
