Jesus Transito might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paulo Vargas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jesus Transito ran back to his position shaking his head. Paulo Vargas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bonifacio Perutxo in the 13th minute of play. Anquincila's Paulo Vargas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bonifacio Perutxo in the 18th minute of play. Aquilino Dabi hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After having played for 22 minutes, Jesus Transito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Catenaccio F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Jesus Transito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paulo Vargas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bonifacio Perutxo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 24 minute of play. In the 29th minute, Donato Peio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Catenaccio F.C.'s Bonifacio Perutxo managed to work through Anquincila's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Bonifacio Perutxo dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. When Rafael Cordaryal came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Anquincila fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafael Cordaryal couldn't finish the play. Aquiles Frascuelo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Cordaryal in the 39th minute of play. When Sergio Urbes fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Anquincila's protests and gave Sergio Urbes a yellow card for diving instead. Sergio Urbes hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute Tomas Leheren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquiles Frascuelo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bonifacio Perutxo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rafael Cordaryal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomas Leheren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Aquiles Frascuelo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ubaldo Birjaio fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Catenaccio F.C.'s protests and gave Ubaldo Birjaio a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Catenaccio F.C. getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Ubaldo Birjaio hit a great ball. Tomas Leheren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Aquiles Frascuelo made a huge save. Tomas Leheren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Tomas Leheren came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Anquincila fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Leheren couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Anquincila booed when Catenaccio F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelino Mambru didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aquiles Frascuelo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rafael Cordaryal's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rodolfo Loi during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Catenaccio F.C.'s Rodolfo Loi got a free kick in the 75th minute. After 79 played minutes, Anquincila's Gaudencio Ur shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aquiles Frascuelo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Anquincila reached it. Paulo Vargas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesus Transito in the 83rd minute of play. In the 86th minute, Tomas Leheren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aquiles Frascuelo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 94 minutes into the match, Anquincila's goal looked a bit too open when Jesus Transito came free, but Paulo Vargas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
