The supporters of Ave Fenix booed when Palanca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgilio Salvadore didn't get a good kick on the ball. 29 minutes into the game, one of Palanca:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Tadeo Santio. Silvestre Fe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvio Suero having to interfere. Guaberto Calisto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tadeo Santio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 69thth minute of the game Luisito Sol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Palanca's Tadeo Santio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 70th minute, Silvestre Fe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Silvio Suero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicolas Orlin in the 85th minute. Tadeo Santio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisito Sol in the 87th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silvestre Fe got free with Silvio Suero in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew the final whistle, Ave Fenix could leave the field as winners, despite Palanca having more of the ball for most of the match.
