With a little luck, Bochini's Zeledon Savion got control of the ball when Arnaldo Mergildo tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Virgilio Peruxu came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Bochini fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Virgilio Peruxu couldn't finish the play. Bochini's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Silvestre Fe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Arnaldo Mergildo sped through Bochini's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zeledon Savion. Silvestre Fe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Zeledon Savion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Silvestre Fe came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Palanca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silvestre Fe couldn't finish the play. Segundo Castulo hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Bochini's Zeledon Savion played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Mergildo in the 45th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Bochini's Blas Ishmael got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Silvestre Fe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teobaldo Gaspard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Tadeo Santio made a huge save. In the 67th minute of the match Bochini got a corner. Palanca's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Teodosio Eztebe ran over to the corner to take the kick. Bochini's Zeledon Savion played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Mergildo in the 68th minute of play. Silvestre Fe struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Zeledon Savion didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palanca. Silvestre Fe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 74 minutes of play, Bochini's Blas Ishmael made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tadeo Santio was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Bochini getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Virgilio Peruxu hit a great ball. Bochini's Blas Ishmael got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Palanca's Tadeo Santio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Palanca from getting a goal against them. Zeledon Savion took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaldo Mergildo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bochini's goalkeeper Zeledon Savion, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
