Ave Fenix's Luisito Sol got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benigno Lucado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisito Sol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benigno Lucado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Piearres in the 5th minute of the match. Luisito Sol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teodoro Piearres took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benigno Lucado. Benigno Lucado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Aquiles Haitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Silvio Suero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ave Fenix's Silvio Suero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Ave Fenix from getting a goal against them. After 15 minutes, Fidel Dalmau mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ave Fenix and the Sportivo los vascos players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sportivo los vascos's Aquiles Haitz got a free kick in the 21st minute. Cayetano Horado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvio Suero having to interfere. Cayetano Horado took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silvio Suero. Silvio Suero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 32 minutes into the game, one of Sportivo los vascos:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 34th minute there was a penalty for Ave Fenix. Rogelio Porfiro stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Benigno Lucado. 1-2. Ave Fenix's Silvio Suero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Ave Fenix from getting a goal against them. Teodoro Piearres took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benigno Lucado. Benigno Lucado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. After some careless play in the Sportivo los vascos defense, Teodoro Piearres kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benigno Lucado. The Sportivo los vascos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benigno Lucado should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teodoro Piearres to make the kick off. Oscar Seber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Ave Fenix's Luisito Sol got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 57thth minute of the game Oscar Seber who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ave Fenix's Silvio Suero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Oscar Seber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th match minute, Sportivo los vascos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cayetano Horado to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute, Aquiles Haitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute, Teodoro Piearres made a precise shot to the right of Benigno Lucado. Sportivo los vascos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. 75 minutes into the game, Teodoro Piearres recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benigno Lucado. Teodoro Piearres showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-6. Silvio Suero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oscar Seber went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-6 was the resulting score. Benigno Lucado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodoro Piearres in the 83rd minute of play. In the 84th minute, Luisito Sol made a precise shot to the right of Benigno Lucado. Sportivo los vascos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-7. Teodosio Ferdinand hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Cayetano Horado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Silvio Suero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silvio Suero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Seber in the 95th minute of play. The Sportivo los vascos supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ave Fenix's performance. The match ended with a win for Ave Fenix.
