The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Clemente Dacio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cai Wei Ming having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Peña AFC's Clemente Dacio got a free kick in the 17th minute. Raimundo Veremundo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prospero Mitxaut having to interfere. If Rigoberto Quintyn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clemente Dacio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roman Ermengol hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. 38 minutes into the match, Verdolaga FC's goal looked a bit too open when Clemente Dacio came free, but Cai Wei Ming reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Verdolaga FC's Cai Wei Ming played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulino Nuñez in the 42nd minute of play. In the 46th play minute Rigoberto Quintyn came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Prospero Mitxaut. 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Raimundo Veremundo was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimundo Veremundo in the 55th minute of play forced Peña AFC's goalkeeper Prospero Mitxaut to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peña AFC's Bartolo Nazario shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 57th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Cai Wei Ming but with some difficulty. Peña AFC's Prospero Mitxaut played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimundo Veremundo in the 64th minute of play. 71 minutes into the game, Fabricio Mendebal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Verdolaga FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Peña AFC the free kick. In the 71st minute, one of Verdolaga FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Verdolaga FC. Fabricio Mendebal kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Teobaldo Osoro was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 80th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Leon Birjaio kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Peña AFC's Prospero Mitxaut played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigoberto Quintyn in the 85th minute of play. Prospero Mitxaut came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Verdolaga FC's Raimundo Veremundo. But to his dismay, Raimundo Veremundo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Clemente Dacio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Cai Wei Ming tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Clemente Dacio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Verdolaga FC had won after a very even match.
