Sportivo los vascos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Verdolaga FC the free kick. After 3 played minutes Sportivo los vascos got a freekick which was hit by Urbano Gau. Rigoberto Quintyn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Benigno Lucado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sportivo los vascos's goalkeeper Benigno Lucado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aquiles Haitz hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigoberto Quintyn in the 11th minute of play forced Sportivo los vascos's goalkeeper Benigno Lucado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raimundo Veremundo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benigno Lucado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimundo Veremundo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 19 minutes of play, Verdolaga FC's Raimundo Veremundo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benigno Lucado was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 22nd minute, Teodosio Ferdinand hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rd minute, a hard, long distance shot from Fabricio Mendebal hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. Oscar Seber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30thth minute of the game Rigoberto Quintyn who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sportivo los vascos's Benigno Lucado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Benigno Lucado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rigoberto Quintyn, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 34thth minute of the game Raimundo Veremundo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sportivo los vascos's Benigno Lucado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rigoberto Quintyn struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Benigno Lucado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Verdolaga FC. Aquiles Haitz's late challenge caught a Verdolaga FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aquiles Haitz helped the player get up and apologised. After 36 played minutes Sportivo los vascos got a freekick which was hit by Aquiles Haitz. Benigno Lucado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rigoberto Quintyn's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. After a rather tough play, Sportivo los vascos's Aquiles Haitz got a free kick in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Oscar Seber made the kick off in the second half. Rigoberto Quintyn might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benigno Lucado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rigoberto Quintyn ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Verdolaga FC booed when Sportivo los vascos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dario Incendio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benigno Lucado was a little too slow when Raimundo Veremundo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 0-4. Octavio Roldanillo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benigno Lucado having to make a save. Raimundo Veremundo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benigno Lucado having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Verdolaga FC's Raimundo Veremundo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benigno Lucado. That made the score 0-5 after 72 minutes of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Javier Orland during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Sportivo los vascos booed when Verdolaga FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Javier Orland didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cayetano Horado in the 78th minute of play forced Verdolaga FC's goalkeeper Cai Wei Ming to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benigno Lucado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Veremundo in the 80th minute of play. If Raimundo Veremundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimundo Veremundo in the 93rd minute of play forced Sportivo los vascos's goalkeeper Benigno Lucado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Rigoberto Quintyn came up free with the goalie in the 99th minute, the Verdolaga FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rigoberto Quintyn couldn't finish the play. Verdolaga FC played a much better game than Sportivo los vascos and deserved their victory. The Sportivo los vascos players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
