An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristides Txilar in the 20th minute of play forced Chañar AFC's goalkeeper Urbano Perez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute, Clemente Xacintu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Urbano Perez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. A collision led to Diamante AFC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Nicanor Toro hit a great ball. Placido Maiorga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abelardo Cambranes having to interfere. Placido Maiorga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Urbano Perez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristides Txilar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Diamante AFC booed when Chañar AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Modesto Raymond didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Chañar AFC's zone, Aristides Txilar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Urbano Perez came out of the goal and Aristides Txilar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Aristides Txilar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Urbano Perez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristides Txilar in the 43rd minute of the match. When the match had been going on for 46 minutes, Chañar AFC's Remigio Olentzaro got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Abelardo Cambranes.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aristides Txilar was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Diamante AFC's Aristides Txilar got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 53rd minute of the match Robustiano Osorio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abelardo Cambranes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 57 played minutes Diamante AFC got a freekick which was hit by Placido Dominix. In the 61st minute Placido Maiorga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Cambranes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aristides Txilar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Urbano Perez made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Clemente Xacintu sent off a good shot on target. Aristides Txilar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Chañar AFC's Placido Maiorga in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Diamante AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Urbano Perez made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Clemente Xacintu sent off a good shot on target. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
