Spectators: 7211 (Terracing: 5409, Seating: 1659, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Osvaldo Potente started the match with the kick off. Alonzo Hotz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Placido Maiorga in the 3rd minute of play. Nikolaos Karagounis kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Chañar AFC's Placido Maiorga got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to La inerte barra de carbón getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Osvaldo Potente hit a great ball. After 13 minutes of play, La inerte barra de carbón's Osvaldo Potente made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Urbano Perez was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 16th minute, Osvaldo Potente got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 17th minute, Gustavo Castel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alonzo Hotz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. La inerte barra de carbón's Alonzo Hotz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justo Gervaso in the 20th minute of play. Alonzo Hotz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Placido Maiorga in the 27th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the game, Modesto Raymond was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chañar AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La inerte barra de carbón the free kick. In the 31st minute, Modesto Raymond hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alonzo Hotz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Castel in the 34th minute of play. La inerte barra de carbón's Nikolaos Karagounis managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Paolo Bernaldo in the 37 minute of the game. Alonzo Hotz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justo Gervaso in the 44th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Placido Maiorga to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, La inerte barra de carbón's Sait İsmail got a free kick in the 51st minute. Remigio Olentzaro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alonzo Hotz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. In the 55th minute of the match, Justo Gervaso got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alonzo Hotz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paolo Bernaldo during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 66 minutes, Eusebio Gabon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La inerte barra de carbón and the Chañar AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 68th minute, Sait İsmail hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Remigio Olentzaro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alonzo Hotz. La inerte barra de carbón's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Alonzo Hotz was a little too slow when Gustavo Castel got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 1-2. 75 minutes into the game, Paolo Bernaldo threw the ball into play from the sideline. La inerte barra de carbón's Nikolaos Karagounis quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Osvaldo Potente took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Urbano Perez. Urbano Perez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Placido Maiorga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Osvaldo Potente blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Urbano Perez having to make a save. La inerte barra de carbón were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
