If Teodosio Loco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Apolo Lorien took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodosio Loco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicasio Mino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Apolo Lorien made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Rodolfo Paulin put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Cirilo Chico. Nicasio Mino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apolo Lorien having to interfere. In the 39th match minute, SANTA PAOLA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ezequiel Erroman to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Alcira's Angelino Beremundo tried to score from far away in the 40th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind SANTA PAOLA's goalkeeper Apolo Lorien, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 46th minute by Teodosio Loco got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teodosio Loco to strike the kick off in the second half. When Faustino Costante fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SANTA PAOLA's protests and gave Faustino Costante a yellow card for diving instead. Rodolfo Paulin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
