In the 11th minute Emilio Quiroga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urbano Perez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 12 minutes into the game, Rosendo Pio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chañar AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Union Central the free kick. After 13 played minutes Chañar AFC got a freekick which was hit by Rosendo Pio. If Emilio Quiroga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Urbano Perez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilio Quiroga in the 21st minute of the match. Jorge Palben sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 27 minutes into the game, Saverio Ekaitz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Benjamin Lobo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Urbano Perez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jorge Palben's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Benjamin Lobo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafin Amor in the 33rd minute of play. The Deportivo Union Central fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when Deportivo Union Central's Emilio Quiroga looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 40 minutes into the match, Chañar AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Palben came free, but Urbano Perez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Serafin Fiz made a precise shot to the right of Urbano Perez. Chañar AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Placido Maiorga was the one to do the kick off. Deportivo Union Central's Benjamin Lobo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Placido Maiorga in the 56th minute of play. Emilio Quiroga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Chañar AFC's Urbano Perez got control of the ball when Jorge Palben tried to sneak it across the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Chañar AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Quiroga came free, but Urbano Perez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jorge Palben recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Urbano Perez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emilio Quiroga went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-4 was the resulting score. The supporters of Deportivo Union Central booed when Chañar AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robustiano Osorio didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Chañar AFC's Urbano Perez got control of the ball when Emilio Quiroga tried to sneak it across the goal line. 82 minutes into the game, Modesto Raymond threw the ball into play from the sideline. Deportivo Union Central's Marcial Berenguer quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Emilio Quiroga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Chañar AFC's Urbano Perez got control of the ball when Edgardo Abilio tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 86th minute, Chañar AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Emilio Quiroga fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Chañar AFC's Urbano Perez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Chañar AFC from getting a goal against them. In a very dangerous position, a player in Chañar AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 91st minute. Penalty! Serafin Fiz placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! When the match clock showed 93 minutes, the score became 3-5 when Serafin Fiz sped through Chañar AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Urbano Perez. Edgardo Abilio's late challenge caught a Chañar AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgardo Abilio helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Union Central's Edgardo Abilio got a free kick in the 98th minute. Deportivo Union Central played a much better game than Chañar AFC and deserved their victory. The Chañar AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
