In the 9th minute, Celso Gonzalez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Leales fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The supporters of Chañar AFC booed when Los Leales was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgard Lorien didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Placido Maiorga in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Filomeno Ospin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Celso Gonzalez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Urbano Perez was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game.
