Spectators: 7257 (Terracing: 5444, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 144) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Teodosio Loco got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th minute, Teodosio Loco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mauro Ospin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 11th match minute, Benard was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santo Poz to maneuver through the defense. Santo Poz charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Santo Poz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Santo Poz kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicasio Mino in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mauro Ospin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mauro Ospin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicasio Mino in the 24th minute of play. Remigio Salbatore's late challenge caught a Benard's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Remigio Salbatore helped the player get up and apologised. In the 28th minute, Remigio Salbatore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Jesus Urtun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Benard's supporters rose to their feet, but Jesus Urtun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cirilo Chico breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddy Isias in the 30th minute of play forced Alcira's goalkeeper Cirilo Chico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alcira were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after Benard's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Angelino Beremundo took the corner. When Freddy Isias came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Benard fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Freddy Isias couldn't finish the play. Freddy Isias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Cirilo Chico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alcira's Cirilo Chico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Isias in the 46th minute of play.

The wind increased when Freddy Isias made the kick off in the second half. Cirilo Chico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santo Poz in the 51st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Freddy Isias's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cirilo Chico was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Cirilo Chico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesus Urtun in the 55th minute of play. Mauro Ospin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodosio Loco, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 72nd match minute, Alcira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remigio Salbatore to maneuver through the defense. Benard's Freddy Isias got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Alcira booed when Benard was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santo Poz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angelino Beremundo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 77th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 80th minute of the match Angelino Beremundo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mauro Ospin skillfully saved the ball. Mauro Ospin made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Nicasio Mino sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Benard getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Augusto Hermelando hit a great ball. 85 minutes into the match, Alcira's Nicasio Mino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mauro Ospin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alcira's Remigio Salbatore got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
