Spectators: 6676 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1676, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Teodosio Loco made the kick off which started today's match. In the 7th minute, Jorge Palben ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cirilo Chico was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 9 minutes, Remigio Salbatore mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alcira and the Deportivo Union Central players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 9 played minutes Alcira got a freekick which was hit by Remigio Salbatore. 11 minutes into the match, Alcira's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Quiroga came free, but Cirilo Chico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Remigio Salbatore got free with Benjamin Lobo in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Deportivo Union Central's Benjamin Lobo got control of the ball when Remigio Salbatore tried to sneak it across the goal line. Emilio Quiroga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Cirilo Chico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 19 minutes into the game, Cornelio Sengrat cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Cirilo Chico was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alcira's Cirilo Chico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgardo Abilio in the 22nd minute of play. Benjamin Lobo came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Alcira's Remigio Salbatore. But to his dismay, Remigio Salbatore quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Benjamin Lobo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luciano Bixintxo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Emilio Quiroga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luciano Bixintxo kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Serafin Fiz scored 1-3 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cirilo Chico, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cirilo Chico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteve Tancredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cirilo Chico came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Union Central's Esteve Tancredo. But to his dismay, Esteve Tancredo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. In the 44th minute of the game, Edgardo Abilio landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Remigio Salbatore hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. In the 48th minute Emilio Quiroga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cirilo Chico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emilio Quiroga to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Alcira getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Bernardino Fidele hit a great ball. 56 minutes into the match, Alcira's goal looked a bit too open when Esteve Tancredo came free, but Cirilo Chico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute Teodosio Loco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Lobo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benjamin Lobo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luciano Bixintxo in the 61st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Nisio in the 64th minute of play forced Alcira's goalkeeper Cirilo Chico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Union Central's Jorge Palben got a free kick in the 65th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Emilio Quiroga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Union Central's supporters rose to their feet, but Emilio Quiroga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cirilo Chico breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 75 minutes, Esteve Tancredo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Union Central's supporters crossed their fingers, but Esteve Tancredo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Palben in the 82nd minute of play forced Alcira's goalkeeper Cirilo Chico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Alcira getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Luciano Bixintxo hit a great ball. Benjamin Lobo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicasio Mino, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 88th minute, Emilio Quiroga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cirilo Chico was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. Esteve Tancredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cirilo Chico having to interfere. If Emilio Quiroga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Deportivo Union Central's Esteve Tancredo got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alcira's Cirilo Chico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Nisio in the 96th minute of play. The Alcira fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Deportivo Union Central were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
